Vexo Accounting runs a registered office address service for UK limited companies, available UK-wide. You get a real, staffed UK street address for Companies House and HMRC, and we open, scan and forward the mail that lands on it. Your home address never touches the public register.
If you run your company from a kitchen table or three different cities in a year, this service gives you one fixed point for official post. It's a low-cost way to protect your privacy, and thousands of directors now use one instead of their own home address.

Use a professional UK registered office address for Companies House and HMRC, with same-day mail scanning and forwarding to help keep your personal address off the public register.
Strictly, no. A registered office is a legal requirement for a company or LLP, not a sole trader.
That said, plenty of sole traders still buy a business address service for the same reason limited companies do: to keep a home address off invoices and public listings. It's a low-cost way to look established. You don't need a physical location, and whether you call it a business service or a registered office service, we'll still forward anything official the same day it arrives.

We spot opportunities and challenges early, helping you stay ahead.
Secure, real-time access, anywhere you need it.
We value your time and get answers when you need them.
Plain English with no surprises. Fixed fees for total clarity.

Statutory mail is the post you can't afford to miss. Confirmation statement reminders, tax notices and penalty warnings fall into this category, and missing one can mean a late filing or a fine.
When post reaches our address, we open it, scan it, and get it to you the same working day. If you'd rather have the original, we forward it on by Royal Mail at no extra charge, since standard mail forwarding is free of charge. We log every piece of official mail, and ordinary business mail gets the same same-day treatment as statutory mail. Copies of your documents stay on your account so you can log in and find them later.
We'll also flag anything that looks off. Fake letters made to look like genuine Companies House or HMRC mail are common, and company owners fall for them because they've never seen the real documents next to a copy. Whether it's from HMRC or Companies House, we check it the same way. Part of what we do is protect you from acting on something that isn't genuine. Keeping copies of documents Companies House sends you is good practice, and we do it automatically to help protect your paperwork.

Some companies also keep a SAIL address, short for Single Alternative Inspection Location, where certain statutory registers are held if you'd rather not keep them at your registered office. It's optional, and many just keep everything in one place.
If you want a separate SAIL address, it has to meet the same appropriateness rules as your registered office. We can set one up alongside your registered office address, and we'll forward post from either address if you ask.

Identity verification is now part of running a UK company. Directors, people with significant control, and anyone filing on the company's behalf are expected to verify who they are under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, and millions of people have already done this.
If a director doesn't verify their identity when required, Companies House can reject filings connected to that person, which can hold up something as simple as changing your registered office. This applies to every company director on record, and we work with directors across every part of the UK. We can flag verification reminders through your account, which helps protect directors from missing a deadline.
Alongside identity checks, Companies House expects your registered details, including your address, to stay accurate. By June 2026, the register had passed 5.5 million companies registered in the UK for the first time, with 63,137 new incorporations and over 27,000 companies struck off in that month alone. An out-of-date address is one of the easiest things to get flagged for.
